About us

Electron Technologies (Pty) Ltd, known simply as 'Electron' has been providing quality electrical products and services to the industrial sector since it was established in Braamfontein in 1967.

With a core staff of around 80 people, we pride ourselves in our commitment to our Clients and their projects. Our skills include electrical design, project management, software configuration, panel manufacture and site installation that allow us to provide customised, integrated turnkey solutions.

Electron manufactures a range of standard and purpose built switchboards up to 1000V, that are Type-Tested to SABS IEC 60439:1999 and bear the SABS mark.

We are an SABS ISO 9001:2000 listed company with a CIDB rating of EP7.

Electron is an independant, privately owned, family business (of which 20% is Black Owned) with offices in Johannesburg, Durban, Port Elizabeth and Cape Town, providing services throught Southern Africa, Africa and the Middle East.
